**PLEASE NOTE: I see a limited number of patients in the clinic. Due to high needs, appointment availability may vary, and there may be times when I am not accepting new patients. Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do you take insurance? We are in network with some insurance companies and out of network with others. As a courtesy to our patients, our front office staff will verify your physical therapy benefits and let you know your financial obligation before your first appointment. For those who prefer not to utilize insurance, we do offer a reduced self-pay rate.
2. Do I need a physician referral? The state of Georgia recently approved legislation allowing all people to see a physical therapist without a referral for 6 visits or 21 days, however, your insurance company may have different stipulations. If you are seeing us for longer than 21 days, you will need a physician referral. We are happy to work with you and your physician to assist in that process as much as we can.
3. How many visits will it take for me to get better? This one is tricky, because it really does vary SO much per person! Some people are better within 4-6 visits, and others work with me for 3-4 months–or even longer! It depends on the complexity of the problem you are experiencing, how long it has been going on, and many other factors.
